I’ve been investigating Sony Adobe Standard and Camera Matching camera profiles lately. Trying to get something for the Sony A900 done since they come out awful in Lightroom 2.4 using Camera Raw 5.4. Way too red for starters. Most major camera makes and models exist except Sony. No Surprises.
Good starting place is the beta application at Adobe Labs – DNG profiles .
Searching the internet I found no A900 presets for download. Somebody here had some suggested settings – Alpha Mount World .
They basically suggested the following:
Red Primary – Hue +4 and Saturation -4
Green Primary – leave it alone!
Blue Primary – Hue +10 Sauration +6
More instructions on the forums posted.
Sony A700 presets are available for download and you can located them here at dpreview forums. They go in the “C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles” or Vista ON my machine is “/programdata/Adobe/CameraRaw/CameraProfiles/”
